I've had an amazing two weeks on a EASS Country to Coast residency at Murringo with Barbara Holloway and South Durras with Helen Maxwell.
My first week in the country was filled with view-gazing, walking, a fantastic visit to Helmut Hiebl's glass studio from the 70s (which was just up the road - many thanks to Erna Hiebl!) and some unexpected reptilian visitors:). My second week was equally inspiring, filled with walking on the beach, in the National Park and watching the waves.
I am deeply grateful to Barb and Helen for this residency, which provided me with such valuable time. It has given me new insight into how I look at my surroundings and think about my work. I am now preparing for an exhibition at the South Durras Progress Hall, opening 11 March 2017. Hope to see you at the beautiful south coast then!
Update: photos of the exhibition, Time to See, can be found here.
