Since returning from my fun US adventures, I've been busily working on my final body of work for my Honours year at the ANU. I have been creating glass wall panels, based on a kiln-forming method I developed during my residency at the Bullseye Glass Company. The process results in colourful distorted imagery within compressed sheets of glass. I then reconstruct the imagery to find a balance between dynamism and order. A number of these works will be displayed at the ANU School of Art Graduating Exhibition 2015 (catalogue), which opens on 27 November 2015. The exhibition is a great opportunity to see exciting student works from across the art school. Hope to see you there!
Below is a glimpse into a wall work that I'm currently completing.
