This year I am looking forward to participating in a fascinating course offered by the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington: Aimee Sones & Anjali Srinivasan: PHYS101: Spontaneous/Control from July 29-August 15. I'd like to thank Pilchuck and the ANU Glass Workshop for generously making this possible through a Pilchuck Partner Scholarship.
Pilchuck Glass School is an international center for glass art education, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade mountains on a former tree farm. Each year, Pilchuck's summer program offers a series of courses in a variety of glassworking processes for artists of all skill levels. Small classes taught by world-renowned artists and instructors emphasize experimentation and teamwork while fostering individual initiative and expression.
